  • Research and Innovation – Conduct research to improve election systems and processes through responsible AI integration.
  • Public Education – Engage with the public to counter misinformation and strengthen trust in democratic institutions.
  • A First-of-Its-Kind Approach – One of the first programs in the nation focused on how emerging AI technologies affect voting and election management.
  • Addressing Opportunities and Risks – Helps election officials harness AI to improve efficiency and security while proactively mitigating risks.

Strengthening Elections Through Education, Innovation and Integrity

The AI & Elections Clinic equips and empowers America's election officials with the knowledge, skills and tools to responsibly harness AI for the benefit of voters and the integrity of our elections. We aim to transform election administrators from consumers of AI into innovators who can solve critical challenges, improve workflows and enhance voter communication in a safe, secure and nonpartisan environment.
